The North Pole Experience (NPX), Home of Santa’s Workshop, is one of the nation’s top holiday interactive attractions located in Flagstaff, Ariz. We are now accepting Honorary Elf nominations for the 2015 season. The North Pole Experience is dedicated to enriching the lives of terminally ill or chronically disabled children. We aim to provide our little elves with a magical and memorable trip to the North Pole Experience!
Nominate a Special Elf with our Honorary Elf Program
The magic of the North Pole Experience doesn’t just happen at Christmas time. Through our Honorary Elf Program, the North Pole Experience spreads Christmas cheer to extra special families all year round and gives back in a variety of different ways –adding a spark of happiness to families who are going through tough situations.
The Honorary Elf program started in 2010 and was inspired by a young boy, Chase Lock, who had been battling a rare form of brain cancer. The family was excited to go back to North Pole Experience in 2010 but had to cancel their reservation when their son was diagnosed. Santa heard about the family’s situation and called them personally. The family shared with NPX how much Santa’s call meant to them, including making a heartfelt video thanking the North Pole Experience family. This touching video and family story inspired the creation of the Honorary Elf program.
To nominate a child or family facing a tough time, individuals must submit a photo or video detailing why their nominee should be chosen as an Honorary Elf. Nominations are accepted throughout the year, but must be completed by October 31, 2015 to be considered for the upcoming holiday season. To apply, please send an email with the nominees’ story and contact information to morgan(at)northpoleexperience(dot)com. A maximum of 10 Honorary Elf nominees will be selected and the chosen families will be notified via email.
Non-Profit – Honorary Elf Day
New for 2015, the North Pole Experience is adding an Honorary Elf Day to the calendar for non-profit organizations. This will be the first year that NPX has invited Arizona Charities the opportunity to qualify for tickets via a simple application process. If you represent a non-profit organization that serves disadvantaged or disabled children in Arizona, please click here to download an application for up to 50 complimentary tickets to the North Pole Experience taking place on November 15, 2015.
We are also very dedicated to giving back to the communities we serve. We support community and charitable organizations that focus their efforts on health, welfare or education and that promote values like our own. To download our fundraising donation request form, please click here.
Depending on the type of donation request you have, different deadlines apply. All requests must be submitted by completing the correctly linked Donation Request Form; the more complete the request, the better your chances of being considered – We do not accept Donation Requests via U.S. mail or over the phone. Regrettably, not all requests can be fulfilled due to the high volume we receive. We wish you good luck with your fundraising event and look forward to helping in any way we can.
